We've had the opportunity to have an interview with the famous DiCE GIRL, a popular steamer who reveals the ins and outs of online streaming in the iGaming industry. Tell us a bit about yourself; who is Dice Girl?
DICE GIRL: Well my name is Egle, and I am a 26 years old woman who is passionate about gambling. I’m kind and friendly, and always enjoy being around company. Now my company is the DiceGirl community that I really love.
How did you get into live streaming?
DICE GIRL: It all started around three years ago. I had some friends who were poker players. So I spent some time with them in the casinos. While they were playing poker tournaments, I spent time at the slot machines. Then I tried an online casino, and I liked it, so I thought why not meet new people from all around the world while I’m playing? So I created the Dicegirls channel and have been happily streaming for almost two years now.
What are the pros and cons of slot streaming?
DICE GIRL: The pros are that I have so much fun meeting new people while I do what I love. Streaming gives me a lot of laughs and good emotions. The cons would be that gambling is a “slippery” thing. That’s why it’s very important to know your limits and stay responsible when you gamble/stream slots.
What is the situation of online slot streaming in Lithuania?
DICE GIRL: Well, you can't stream slots in Lithuania… More restrictions are for gambling in general. Lithuanian casinos don't have autospins (which is annoying) haha. Luckily, I don’t play in Lithuanian casinos so I can avoid that.
What are the best platforms to stream online casino games that you can recommend?
DICE GIRL: I tried to stream on Facebook and Youtube, but for me, it didn’t work as planned. Although I’ve seen some really big gambling channels out there. Right now, I’m streaming on Twitch and I think it’s a great platform for that, but Twitch is starting to be more and more strict about gambling streams… So that is pretty sad.
What’s your opinion on the future of casino streaming after the policy of Twitch has changed?
DICE GIRL: It’s hard to say what will be in the future… For now, Twitch lost a lot of slot streamers after October 18th. But if they won’t set even more restrictions - I think the slots category will stay one of the biggest categories on Twitch.
What advice would you give to new slots streamers?
DICE GIRL: Know how much you can spend, be responsible, and most importantly - be yourself so you and the viewers can have a lot of fun.
Name your top 3 favorite Endorphina slots and why you like them?
DICE GIRL:
1. Satoshi's Secret, because it has a different bonus than most of the games.
2. Tribe, because I love Indian themes.
3. Mongol Treasures 2, because I had a big win there.
